OTOT John, Since you are much closer to IBM than many of us, I would like to say that I am truly amazed at Gerstner's turnaround success. Point being, this guy had very little PC and IT background and he turns around the mothership of the 70' and 80's! Unbelievable! I mean, he must be very sharp to be able to grasp not only the very technical nature of the business but then also formulate a strategy and motivate his "skeptical" (at the time) troops to execute it. I think it is a modern day success story that is not discussed enough!! IMO, he earned every dollar of the millions he has now! Any thoughts? MileHigh
