I just tried it with error checking off and it was a little faster -- maybe 10%. I never had the write verify turned on. You're doing it at 4.8, I'm doing it at 1.7 MB/sec. Are your source and destination drives both on the IBM disk?. If not I would think your faster processor is mostly responsible for the difference. w
