Hey, I for one have been waiting for HDTV for a long time. My only TV is an early 70's Sony. I vowed 10 years ago I would never replace it until HDTV got here. Little did I know it would take so long. <G> Of course the 7 speaker surround system does help, though. <VBG> Seriously, I figured that if I bought a new TV, Murphy's Law would cause it to be obsoleted the next year, so I just kept deferring purchase decisions. Broadcasters may be slow to switch, but I think that consumers will switch quicker than expected as prices come down. Carl
