I guess it is safe to come back visibly on this thread . . . I see civilization still thrives to one degree or another without the inimitable Mr. Schuh. My own personal theory is that he fell out-of-favor with the administration and stopped getting the talking points faxes out of the White House. Left to draw on his own resources to engage in the discussion, he disintegrated rather rapidly.

Not much changes - I've been away as a participant and have been a fairly irregular observer when I had internet access while travelling - the political diatribe from many of the same parties in defense of the indefensible administration is strangely like deja vu all over again.

So - at the behest of a lying coward, now we're putting men and women in danger all over the world with a dangerously weakened state of readiness. And the Chinese are laying in wait with their eye on Taiwan and the strategic weapons to accomplish their goal without interference from a weakened US.

Amazing how a few hundred thousand dollars paid to the right people can buy a country the size of Taiwan, isn't it?

Mr. K.
