Are you personally responsible for the bombing of the Chinese embassy, the hosptials, the water pumps? The president who ordered the bombing was elected, just as Milosovic was.

I don't feel personally responsible for those things. I would be outraged if a Serbian national came in and shot my wife and children. There is no way I would believe they "deserved" it. No more do I hold the average Serb responsible for Kosovo.

If the UN is prepared to identify and punish the people who committed illegal acts in Kosovo and Yugoslavia (on BOTH sides, theirs and ours) I would fully support that.

But punishing citizens, women, children, for what their government does is barbaric, to say nothing of illegal under international law.
