You know something? The Plan has always been to have two. "An even number", I would quip to colleagues, "zero or two. And we're committed." Helen doesn't use the stroller very much. She loves to run on her own pitter-patter feet. A daily ritual is for me to walk behind her up the street and see how far she goes before turning to me arms raised and demanding "Up!".
Two car seats will be a major engineering issue. Our cars are just wide enough in back for two car seats. I don't think they make anything wide enough for two seats and an extra passenger. Maybe the Tahoe or Suburban? But it grows less likely that we will buy such a behemoth, even though it would satisfy my (and Spouse's) sense of machismo. Maybe a used Grand Caravan.
I think we'll tough it out as long as possible with the Honda though. The budget is about to go from tight to restrictive.
