T, I used the IIX puts to good effect last summer, both as a paired trade and as a straight put. The premiums are high and the index has too many large cos, such as Cisco. But the latter doesn't bother me much. I think Cisco is a great co., but way overpriced and the IIX tends to move south pretty quickly when the internuts go down. What we need to do is compare it to The Street. Com Internet Idiots Index and see which has the most bang for the buck.
