Sarmad, No not liable for shareholder law suits. Even if it appears unfair, hedging is a fact of life, and doesn't have to be reported.
Now, utilities as an example will report their hedges because it can have a material effect on its shareholders.
In Bezos case it doesn't. Now, on the other hand, If Bezos's hedge was with Morgan Stanley which would seem the more likely, MS will report its hedged positions, but not individually. Meaning you'll never see a individuals hedged positions. That's one of Wall Streets hedging priced secrets.
Trust me on that.
