Chris. maybe you would take the time to think about some of the questions I posted to you. Did it ever occur to you that the content of the quote you just trotted out is wrong? Maybe it was wishful thinking written by a person who was trying to atone for a lifetime of evil? Maybe, if there is a God, he values people who arrive at morality independently. Maybe, if there is a God, he values people who are humanists over people who blindly follow scriptures. Maybe the scriptures are a cosmic joke played out on an unsuspecting humanity by a god who loves a good laugh. He inspires the Bible, the Koran, the Book of Mormon, etc. and guffaws at the poor suckers killing one another over his word. Maybe it is more important to reach out to your fellow human beings and try to help them in the here and now than to proselytize an unprovable religious belief. Can you understand the dilemmas created by your beliefs. Or do you ask questions at all? Do you ever admit to self-doubt? TTFN, CTC
