To all , I forgot to mention if you use
Message 9858472
the European market before the open to get a feel for
what's coming..
You also need to check ,
finance.uk.yahoo.com
and get the EU / dollar rate.
Right now you take the price of the stock and x it 1.046
if it's on the Frankfurt or Paris exchange, but that can
change each day so check the Forex.
----------------------
Now the thing that can be misleading is if you see it UP
or DOWN over there and don't convert Remember it's up or down in respect to their Last close,
They open and close ahead of
us so say Dell is EU 33.10 , down .20 , but that makes her
34.6225 US , and we closed at 34.4375 so she is really UP from
our close , so don't jump to conclusions if you see them saying
UP or Down , convert it and look at our close.
BTW they will be trading TODAY so this should be very interesting
finance.uk.yahoo.com
-------------------------
(1) They won't be getting direction from our market.
(2) Will they bite into that phony rally we had late Friday ?
(3) If they don't then I expect this market to fall really good.
(4) This may confirm what I've been saying about the Foreigner's
getting out while the dollar is high and why our blue
chips went down even when money was going into funds..
Jim

**OT**

You can also thank Creemspan for bailing out his investment banking fraternity friends last summer on the LTCM fiasco.

Here's an interesting piece of non-essential history I picked up this weekend. AG is my grandmothers first cousin!

I know you think he's the evil emperor from star wars, but at least he warns people the markets are full of &^%&%it!

PS the LTCM bailout was a pile of doo-doo. Wouldn't want the bankers realizing any risk! Talk about a free ride.
