Hi Roland and thread,

Here is some info from the internet stock letter. These guys have very good contacts with MXMX (of course it is one of their clients, maybe they are a bit hype-ish).
When I started to invest in MXMX I was a bit concerned by the way they were executing their plan (cfr BB King, the Big Brother Story, and the past experience of the management).
I feel more confident now (even if they still have to deliver a lot).
As per the internet stock letter there will be big announcements in the future. I hope they soon launch the channel on the EchoStar broadcast service...

MediaXellent ! The more we learn about this company (and client), the more excited we get. We visited the company earlier in the week to get a face-to-face update. There is so much coming up at the company that it made (at the risk of sounded hype-ish), our hair stand on end. Okay, it didn't really stand on end, but we most definitely felt lower hair follicle movement.

While we don't want to make it strictly an "Echostar" story (because as we said they have so many other things they are working on), we at the same time, certainly don't want to down play the enormous potential of having a channel on the soon to be launched service.

In essence, they have their "own channel" on which they can deliver content and have an opportunity to earn revenues. Click your remote and watch never seen before concert footage of Rod Stewart. Click again and buy the album. The bill is simply added to your Dish Network monthly bill. Click again (and we're talking about your remote control) and BB King comes on, an interactive event about his music and life. Click again, buy a BB king tee-shirt, a book, a CD
Rom. Watch BB King with Bono, U2, Bonnie Raitt and Eric Clapton. We saw some of the live footage and the quality and sound was nothing short of amazing.

We think the following words about the potential from Steve Perlman put it quite accurately:

"The EchoStar Model 7100 satellite receiver is a milestone in the history of television," said Steve Perlman, president and co-founder of WebTV Networks.
"The satellite's broadband delivery capability, combined with a massive disk drive, frees viewers from a fixed TV broadcast schedule, allowing them to watch what they want, when they want. This capability is seamlessly integrated with the WebTV Plus service, expanding the viewing experience with high-speed Internet access and interactive television. This product is the world's first
glimpse of 21st century television."

A final note about MediaX. We have 10 free tickets to the Divine concert (with live Web Broadcast) for subscribers to give out. So if you're in the Los Angeles area, drop us a line. It's first come first serve. Divine, which is part of the MediaX entertainment network, sold 2,000,000 records and is as about as hot as they get. They've been compared to En Vogue and obviously have quite a bright future ahead of them. This is a huge event and the first internet/local radio (KISS FM) promoted event we can think of.

Some few words about their relation with EchoStar:

...so what was that news we felt could "propel" it 20 points higher. In one word (okay, four words)...high-speed broadcast service. It's coming and it is amazing. We saw a sample of how it would work at the MediaX offices, who has a channel that will be broadcast on the service, earlier this week. The service, we can assure you, will take over the living room as the "entertainment center" of the future.

EchoStar's satellite broadcast will incorporate the best features of the Internet and TV, providing interactive multimedia accessible by a click of the mouse -- or remote control. In addition to on-demand interactive multimedia, the service will offer the ability to download software, games, concerts and electronic publications. It puts "pay per view" as you knew it, to shame.
Learn this story.

If somebody can attend their live transmission of June, please send feed-back.

Hope MXMX will grow into something big...

Regards,

Richie3
