Lebed reminds me of a certain Russian political figure that was on 20/20 many years ago. A very critical and outspoken man by the name of Yeltsin... Yeah, but he's a military man and one quality that infantry combat leaders seem to share are that they are a bit less corruptible that the politicos. It's just saddening that so much corruption is evident in that society and the potential that exists for a political collapse and military civil war. It used to be that the Russian military provided the 3rd leg of the stool counterbalancing the Party and the KGB. Now one can only wonder what role it will play in the future and how aggressive it will be on the international scene. Regards, Ron
