Of course not. But it does mean that Dell is choosing to invest less in DELL the stock. One thing I dont get is that since the stock buyback is actually a cash generating program why would they want to cut back?
This has probably already been discussed but there are few markets that are large enough to make a big impact on Dell that are growing anywhere near as fast as the "dying" PC market. Compaq has failed pretty miserably.
But if anyone can do it, Dell can.
