Gateway has their name on the screen big at bootup, I'll get rid of that too.

I have a DELL system. DELL systems start with a Big Blue Ball on the screen. Much bandwidth and SI disk space has been devoted to getting rid of the BBB without much luck. It seems the BBB is implemented in firmware, not software, and thus, will be with us all till the end of time. This may not be true for your Gateway, but I thought I'd warn you before you make this project your life's work.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Pressing ESC key gets rid of BBB. But next boot, IT'S BACK!
