My experience is that the Yahoo! board is a bit more raunchy, but has more action, more posts. If interested in a stock I follow the chatter on both boards and enjoy the different slant from each. SI has advantages such as the bookmarks, but Yahoo! is my home page and I have my portfolios set up there, so I see immediately what my money is doing as I log on, and the threads I'm following are on the first screen, thus easy to spot if there is a new comment. I've gotten interesting ideas from both places, but I think they're about as reliable as the writing on bathroom walls. So I do my own research, read my own reports from Edgar.
