Having 10 million accounts and tying-up most of the most valuable portal real estate on the Web makes Amazon unique. Having a cover story on Barron's makes Amazon unique. Being the leading etailer makes Amazon unique. No one come close.

JC if they had anything unique, they would be making money by now, or at least closing the gap on losses. They are doing neither.
