Years ago I lived in Indiana and went to the Indy 500s. I found it immensely booring to watch cars speeding around the track. I stopped going when I realized the only things of interest were the crashes. Maybe MRPS has their reasons for backing losers, but like the previous poster maybe we should use the device on the drivers.

Can anyone explain what the attraction is to car racing?

Susie,

I will not be watching the race. I limit myself to one or two hours of television a week and it is not to watch the Indy. I am not a fan of motorsports. My favorite sports involve full contact. And I am not talking football or wrestling.

Tai Chi or Aikido interests me. Or a good game of chess. My absolute favorite sport is mens gymnastics.

To each their own.
