Baseball Players are BASE. Thus the name BASEball Players. No self respecting Lady would be caught scratching anything below the neck or above the knee. That poses a problem when an irritating hair falls into a Lady's blouse or Brassiere (sp). Scratching with gay abandon is definitely a Male thing...I suppose we could bebate that issue for a while...whether or not ecstatic scratching is a male thing.....it would depend on who is scratching who and what and maybe even when.
