HI Mike have not sent any E-mail, have received it looks basic and comes with an address book Yes the setup comes with a new remote and wireless keyboard You can actually surf the web using only the remote Scrolling, part of the problem with the scrolling is that the mouse and the select button (right mouse click) are on opposite sides of the keyboard. I guess I will get used to that. the pages kinda roll onto the screen verses popping like on my computer (connected right now at 47K bps) as far as I can tell the net is fully accessible 180 no way maybe 33 just a guess I would not call it slow and laborious In fact I am pleasently surprised by the service, but my expectations on anything from Charter are low Perry
