You left out the part about the secret mission involving the Eggplant of Right-Handedness, stored in the protocol droid's memory crystals. <gg>

You see, the person who really did most of the writing for Webnode.com was Queen Amidala, ruler of the planet Naboo. Janice was used as a decoy and is in reality her trusted handmaid.

Oh, mini-Padme, hmmmmmm?

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. Today marks the day a peaceful demonstration came to a tragic end. I know it was peaceful because I was there and I participated (although I left the day martial law was declared and avoided the carnage). My most vivid memory was when I and my brother rode our bikes in a procession on a major street bordering the square. I'll never forget the rousing cheers and applause we got for our support. I'll never forget all the people who came up to us to say "tell your people in America what you saw here."

People tend to forget that the big event was not to welcome a US president to China, but to welcome President Gorbachev of Russia, who was to meet with Deng Xiaoping. The label of Tiananmen as a "pro-democracy" movement is a misnomer. The students weren't protesting for a US style government. No, they were simply asking for greater freedom of speech and press.
