catolog and TV-shopping never ever took off except the little burpy in the beginning. Almost all these stocks are trading at around 5$ now. One to two years from now almost all online web stores will very likely be in the same boat. All imo -
And as for getting stuff when one is at home with blurpy eyes and wrinkled shorts, who cares about being nice or be pampered, most of us just wanted to be done quick. A total difference vs being seen and to see when you're at stores such as saks and bloomings; not to say the cute labels that one can show off to boost one's own perpetual self esteem. But, where's the beef buying through on-lien web stores; that's the real problem with commodity selling through online automation, the beef is the all the same. imo-

Not easily replicated by others, either - the essence of many incredibly successful businesses look like that

But... if it's the essence of many incredibly successful businesses, it seems reasonable to assume "many" other business could duplicate it.

The time lag on the net between good ideas on one site appearing on another is decreasing, and the consumer might not be so concerned about brand, as about price and ease of use, both of which are reproduceable.
