Amy - Re: "Any ideas which special function it'll handle? "

I don't know of any "special functions" but the Colusa should handle a memory bandwidth od 3.2 GigaBytes/Sec. (possibly as high as 6.4 GB/sec), one I/O port a 250 MBytes/Sec and another at 2.25 GigaByte/sec.

Maximum memory will be 2 GBytes to 16 GigaBytes depending upon the processor used - Willamette or Foster.
