Thank you Garry for pointing out what today is really about. I am so glad to hear there are many people who appreciate and will stand up for this country and do not take it for granted. My generation owes a lot of respect to the older ones. I hope we do not become plagued by internal dissonance.

RE:Memorial Day-Amen!I am a veteran as is are many many others-The two years I spent as an officer aboard an attack aircraft carrier in the South China Sea (7th Fleet) was helpful towards my own pesonal maturation and towards assisting me in better understanding and appreciating the world and my own country in it -- All US citizens should vote and work hard to stay informed so we can as a result of those cumulative efforts - elect the best candidates possible.It's taken a lot of sorrow and struggle to get where we are and it could all come down if the populace dosn't shape-up.wbm
