LOL! No, that would not phase him. I have discovered that we are in la- la land with these types. You and I live in pretty much the world; sometimes we agree, sometimes we fight, but there is about the same respect for a range of authorities, agreement on much of the background information, and sense of the rules and premises of argument being similar. With someone like him, we leave that "consensual universe", and we are to believe that the world of scholarship and policy is so corrupt that nothing that is commonly accepted within it can be trusted, that odd little unverifiable snippets of assertion trump well- debated, in the open theses and narratives. Further, we are to believe that his peculiarly hateful brand of Christianity is superior to the current philo- semitism of much of the Evangelical world, and the repudiation of anti- semitism by Catholicism and the main- line denominations. In such a context, how could the gentleman's doctorate matter in the least? He had been duped by the conspirators...

Neither have I but firmly believe it would be an exercise in total futility. We can't change such small minds. It is true that Emile has a right to post on SI but nobody is required to pay any attention to him. I have wasted my time doing this but have now sworn off such futile efforts. Best, truedog
