TA or no TA my account is down 30% since April 26 and that's plain stupidity.I should have bailed at 10% down. Now I'm not sure what to do.
TA would have had me out at a 8-10% loss because that's when my stocks began to show sell signals.

No, not negating the power of TA. The fact is that there is enough of a following in TA that they create their own destiny. They believe a stock will sell off to X so they sell, and then the stock goes to X where they see support and buy, thereby creating their own support.

What I was implying was that a stock is traded in a stock market and certainly other factors will influence its trading. In our case, I believe the DELL sold off more than it should because of the general market sell off...so I don't believe DELL will go to their low TA support of the 20's...unless the market continues to sell off.
