Would people please stop debating with Chris land? He will not change. He will not change us. These exchanges are not discussion, they are not dialogue. They are words as bullets, intended not to change but to wound. But both parties wear body armor which insulates them from the intended harm. So all they do are clutter up the thread without doing anything except perhaps making the shooters feel better for a few seconds. I submit a plea to return this thread to some semblance of communication, which means words which are intended to and have some possibility of informing, or changing, or educating, or helping the other person.
