dave,

i have not received my dividend shares yet but have been in correspondence with my broker. the following is the response i received:


Medinah Mining is scheduled to pay its stock-spinoff to record holders as of May 7, 1999 on pay date May 28, 1999. I do not have an ex-dividend date for the issue and cannot verify spin-off entitlement. I should have some more information later next week.

Just checked my Discover Brokerage account. Medinah Gold shares are now listed there. I assume this means that Discover has received possession of the certificates from the transfer agent. If so, there wouldn't be any purpose in me taking possession of the certificates at this point, would there?
