Fund Performance... With thousands of funds out there an investor needs to do some research to pick the best performers... There are many Fund stock screening sites such as Quicken and Yahoo that rank funds by performance in 1, 2, 3, and 5 year periods... They also give Morningstar profiles... There is no excuse today for investing in those 80 to 90% of funds that don't beat the S&P performance when analysis information is so readily available... I generally use a three year time period for my scans... Here is a scan of the top 25 funds over the past three years... quicken.com Janus Twenty is one of my favorites... Jim
