Nobody has stated that RMBS was going to capture the Dram market overnight. It will be in steps, first baby steps, then larger steps as technical and cost related obstacles are overcome. 50% of a market in several years - damn - that's unbelievable when you put it in its proper perspective. So what is an investor suppose to do now. If you believe the above scenerio of RMBS penetration, then one should be buying the stock on dips into support areas. If and when INTC decides to abandon RMBS or use it as second-tier technology to something else, then the jig is up and the game is over for the longs. If, on the other hand, INTC forges aggressively ahead with RMBS with its technology support and capital, then the ballgame is over for the shorts. It's that simple. Time will tell. But don't most of the games that are played out on Wall Street looked back fondly or not so fondly in hindsight. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It's only a game with real money at stake. You know - you can't take it with you.

Oh, by the way, outcome of the above game - longs win. Shorts - winning one battle doesn't win the war. Let's check back in 12 months. Have a great holiday everyone.
