I'd been wondering if Y2K was really boosting sales of thin-clients. This press release seems to say so. computingsa.co.za

Says X-Solutions business development manager John Cato: "Our sales show that more people are becoming aware of the Y2K issue and the possible impact it might have on their companies. This as well as a growing awareness that PC-based computing is not the most efficient option for all environments has resulted in a definite increase in sales of the NCD thin clients."
