Oh, there are a gazillion places in between, I suppose. My husband, the chemical engineer, insists that PCBs and dioxin are not that harmful. He thinks we should not have banned DDT, either. Better living through chemistry!

Edwarda, I think you're right. There is usually a middle ground that makes the most sense.
