Although the Plextor packet-writing sw not as well known to me as Adaptec's which Yamaha uses.

I take that statement back. The Plextor also uses the same Adaptec CD Direct as Yamaha. Buy.com's info was clearer on that.

I've had a Brother 4650 multi-function laser printer/fax/scanner/copier for nearly one year now. I could not be more pleased with it. It will be a long time before I go back to inkjet again.

The multi-functions work great, and Kinko gets a lot less of my business.
