Chuckle. You catch me out. I agree completely and hold BRCM for the reasons you state. Broadcom covers all three fields itself. As an offshoot though, you might consider looking at Terayon (TERN) as a company with major potential in cable and wireline. More narrow and more risky but I was attracted, since it uses CDMA on wire - no Q patents or relationships though. But along with BRCM has been chosen to develop the next set of cable modems for standard examination. Again TERN is highly risky, and has a much narrower focus than BCRM. But S CDMA (unique to TERN) on wire has some of the same advantages as CDMA in the air.
