I cannot claim credit for the content of my remarks, the facts were gleaned from extensive study over a period of about 30 years on religion origins. Chris would never understand that the first thing I learned was you have to surpass your ego if you really want to find truth. The only thing I have to be proud of is I was just smart enough to realize how dumb I was and seek for truth. I was raised in a church family and there every time doors opened hearing about hell for as far back as I can remember. My life was dominated with fear and guilt when I was just a normal kid full of mischief like most. I know what that crap did to me and do not think I was an exception. If you really bother to read the bible it will amaze you that anyone would have the balls to call it the word of God. The churches, like government, use ignorance to control people to obey and slave for the benefit of the few. People are too lazy to find fact for themselves so are easily misled by charlatan preachers and politicians. You should read what God proscribed for a wife whose husband might have doubts of her purity. They used God to make women slaves of men and it still holds true today in churches. Wives are told they be subservient to husbands. They will go to hell for wearing adornments to church. They are not allowed to speak or pray openly. When slaves were freed it didn't apply to church because that was God's place. The miracles claimed were a joke with neither historical or scientific fact yet are the basis of their "faith."
