Once the bombing stops the West will lose interest in Kosovo very quickly. You can bank on it. There are 50,000 reasons that they won't. Not at least for a year or so... :0) This will be a major deployment and there will be massive requirements for economic assistance. So if we combine 50,000 peacekeepers with another 50,000 humanitarian assistance workers from various NGOs, this will not be a minor operation that will conveniently go away. Regards, Ron

The great champions of democracy will move on to find the ghost of Hitler in yet another corner of the world. Khadafi was Hitler no. 1, Arafat Hitler number 2, The Ayatollah number three, Idi Amin number 4, Noriego number 5, Saddam Hussein number 6, and good old Milo number 7. There have been reported sightings in several other spots. Witch hunting is a tough business and requires eternal vigilance. The State Dept. has recently hired Clairvoyant Izzy Chuzzwit to help sniff out leads. He reportedly sleeps with a picture of Hitler under his pillow. This allows Hitler's image to combine with Izzy's sensitive clairvoyant instincts . This joining together lead Izzy to the culprits who have allowed Hitler's spirit to make a home in their bodies. The State Dept. now admits that Izzy was responsible for identifying Hitler's spirit in Khadafi, Arafat, Saddam and Milo. A Clinton spokesman has admitted that the White House now admits that Izzy's sniffing has passed from parapsychology into pure science. During the Carter Administration, Izzy's readings came into disfavor because President Carter suspected Izzy of being an Israel-firster. Consequently, Carter attempted the Iranian Embassy rescue operation without Izzy's blessing, and we all know the disaster that followed the disobedience of Izzy's readings. President Reagan was determined not to repeat Carter's mistakes. Upon the advice of Nancy, Mr. Reagan brought in the clairvoyant Jean Dixon to complement Izzy's readings. With this new team, the Reagan Administration was successful in sniffing out Hitler nos. 4,5 and 6. The Clinton Administration had some difficulties in convincing Izzy to remain on the National Security team. When Clinton finally acknowledged Izzy's proposition that the world's problems were due to Hitler's re-appearance in world leaders, Izzy graciously agreed that he would continue to lead the White House in its efforts to cleanse the world of these re-appearances. This is the story of America's involvement in the Serbian-Kosovo civil war. Now that NATO's courts have indited Milo, Izzy's clairvoyant sniffing has once more proving its effectiveness.
