With the large paging systems there is a local number for each major city, or an 800 number. Or, better, most paging systems now have a Web interface: you send an email (including a message if it is a text pager) to pager_number@paging_company.com and it's forwarded to the pager. Free. Have to say, though, it seems like a bit of a non-event to me, too. OTOH, it is just one more advanced capability that helps to differentiate BIDS, even if the user market niche will be narrow. WUWT
