John Curtis;

I was teasing. I expected a volcanic reaction. I'm disappointed. You guessed right. I'm an old Harley man myself. I used to drag race a chopper I built from an old knucklehead engine. Bored and stroked to 115 cubes. 2" valves and dual SU carbs. I blew the engine every time I raced and blew the double copper head gaskets about once a week. I raced it on Nitro. I ran 11 1/2 to 1 comp. I had to start it by standing on the kickstarter with both feet. Then a 6 foot blue flame would shoot out of the carbs. I never really got the engine right but I turned low 12s. Not bad? Later, when I grew up, (21) I took my young wife on a honeymoon all over the continent including, Alaska on a full dress Electraglide. 33 yrs. ago. Would you believe that when I raced I wore an old leather pilot's hat and goggles (before Donald Sutherland did it). I must have looked like something out of Mad Magazine. Sometimes, the chopper kicked back and I would go head first over the handle bars and it felt like I had a broken leg. My head was too thick to feel broken (19 yrs. old). Talk about noise. I'm still deaf. Straight pipes.

I envy you the SGI box. I do a lot of graphic design and industrial design. The only thing about the SGI is it is too proprietary for my taste. Hope you enjoyed the noise.
