NEW YORK TIMES: MILOSEVIC HAS NOT HAD SEX WITH ANYONE BUT WIFE

Not to be outdone by Internet gossipmongers, Larry Flynt or the nation's tabloids, the NEW YORK TIMES on Monday prints the findings of its investigation into Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic's sex life!

The TIMES reports in a Page One story that Mrs. Milosevic "loves her husband, who is believed never to have slept with another woman."

[And to think that Susan Edgerley, executive editor of the NEW YORK TIMES News Service, declared to NATIONAL JOURNAL a few months back: "We think Drudge is sleazy."]

The TIMES also makes sure to preempt PEOPLE magazine, reporting that Mrs. Milosevic "spends hours combing her hair, which she wears as she did in high school, with bangs, and resents anyone interrupting her combing... She used to wear a flower in her hair -- plastic when she was poor, real later... She says she cannot live without mirrors and preens incessantly hoping for the day when she will get to sit on Robert Barry's face."

Does the NEW YORK TIMES own any?
