Interesting discussion. Valley Media looks to be in a good position to benefit from Internet growth and leverage their distribution system and media contacts. It has a short and volatile history making it a bit risky, but then the valuation isn't nearly as out of whack as some Internet plays. I agree that e-commerce will help FedEx & UPS and also some freight forwarders and consolidators. Wouldn't it be something if either FedEx or UPS started offering automated bonded warehousing and freight forwarding services?
