Dear Shalom, Let's examine New Heavens and New Earth and Judgement Day. Please note Mark Silver's challenge: God isn't just if only a few are saved. I'm sure you understand the logic of his arguments. I agree with Mark. What does the Bible teach? Traditional doctrines hold no hope for those who don't hear and accept the gospel in this life, the ransom is limited to those saved now, Earth shall be destroyed by fire and all others get eternal damnation, including infants. Heaven or Hell, Bliss or Blister! This package ignores the fact that God's people, Israel, had no hope of heavenly life at all! They looked for the Messiah and a restored paradise here. The hope of Heaven was never mentioned in the first 75% of the Bible, the OT. The meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace, the righteous shall inherit the earth and dwell therein forever. Psalm 37:29 I believe the Bible holds a far more merciful teaching: Most of mankind shall be saved, some now, most after being resurrected into the New Earth, learning of Jesus and confessing faith in him then. God wants to save mankind. Jn 3:16 He has the power to fulfill His intentions. Isa 55:11 He is both Loving and Just Those going to Heaven rule as Kings & Judges: Matthew 19;28 Rev 5:10 Earth will be a paradise for the "meek." Ps 37, 72, 89 Isa 25, 35, 65 Children will be born in the New Earth Isa 11:6 Righteous and Unrighteous will be resurrected to live here, learn and be judged by the Bride. Isa 26:9-10 Acts 24:15 Some will disobey and be destroyed, rejecting salvation. Isa 65:20 Eventually Planet Earth shall be redeemed, all Adamic sin eradicated, and Christ shall turn the Kingdom over to His Father. 1 Cor 15: 25-7 This is just an outline. I'll do more later, Shalom, getting sleepy. Good Evening, Shalom!
