hsg, everything lately seems to be affecting Dell whether lately.

Well clearly it can't help Dell and for the Dell bashers it will be one other tool to beat up on the stock, so expect so called experts to pop up on all the business news shows and proclaim the end of many Internet stocks.

I take another view. A lot of money has been chasing Internet stocks on the basis of high growth. If the Internet stocks cool off then what is the next level of high growth and real earnings? Dell is clearly in a position to capture a lot of those investors along with INTC, MSFT and other high tech leaders.

Has Dell said in no uncertain terms that it will continue to trade on the NASDAQ and WILL NOT move to the NYSE? Screw what CNBC says, first "yes," then "no." What does Dell say? I keep seeing this rumor surfacing in various forms. Is this a coy reference that some funny guy with insider information is spreading to hint that IBM is going to buy Dell, thus fulfilling the rumor of "Dell moving to the NYSE?"

I don't mean for my post or questions to imply anything. I'm just asking a question. Thanks.
