Les; I don't know about that study, it looks enhanced to me, as the average invester didn't stay in the market in 87, they couldn't ..and the early 90s took out a lot, so they use the exceptions as if they were the rule, what I know for sure is the broad market is not jumping over any moon, not in the last 10 -1/2 months , and the "majority of mutual funds are booking out and out losses if you measure them from last Julys highs, instead of picking the low point for a take off..( and that low point was not when the majority of invertors were in the funds ) but they were there during the July high. --------------- Jim
