Lars, as far as the merger, MACR and RNWK use a similar business model. According to BW article both giving away the basic model(RNWK=RealPlayer)(MACR=ShockMachine) but charging for the "souped up version." Therefor seeing them merge would be great.

Hmmm... MACR/RNWK. That would be interesting, but I don't see it. The merger would be a virtual merger of equals which generally is seen as a negative for in the mkt. I also think the cos. have 2 diff't platforms -- animation vs. sound. Yes, the cos.' products are plug-ins & the cos. have many similarities, but I think MACR wants to focus on ramping shockwave.com. Incidentally, if s.com is spun-off, those $15 mln. in losses disappear. Was encouraged by MACR's up day in the teeth of a Nasdaq debacle...
