"For now the market says Zappa is dead"

I guess if you look at Zappa as a short term spec or a quick flip, it aint for you GT. If you look a month or two down the road, Zappa is a serious INVESTMENT. Zappa is a company that has a massive sulphide property that few companies have, and a lot of companies are looking for! Come September, who cares if EMC shares are only worth 50 cents, that would mean at least a $million$ for Zappa!

Heck I personnally think Zappa's laplata property is better than all of EMC's properties, but the market can't see past it's rear end! The volume is low, and the price hasn't doubled or tripled yet! Sounds like good reasoning not to invest in Zappa?

I remember back a couple months ago, you were saying Nuinsco had big time potential! Now your saying it is a dog? I personnally wouldn't have touched NWI with a ten foot pole, as I considered Zappa to have way more proven, and more potential in the first place.

I also remember back a coulple of months ago, and you said you were cashing in your beer cans, cause Zappa was selling so cheap? What are you out for now, and don't want this to take off before you get your position back?

Zappa is probably a lot safer way to play EMC, as if EMC comes up empty, the shares might go back to 50 cents a 50% loss. If EMC missses, Zappa sits at 8-10 cents is my guess, no loss there! The biggest factor of all will be when Zappa gets word from Cambior. Either we sit back and watch Cambior spend millions on Laplata, or Zappa gets the property back, and finds another partner to drill the Laplata!

Who knows how the shares of EMC will turn out for Zappa? Maybe it will be to Zappa's fortune that they haven't sold a share till after September. If Albert had All the shares now, he might have sold them already! The last thing I want to add, is that Albert is supposed to be in Ecuador right now! Who knows what he might have to say when he gets back! Who knows, he might even delight shareholders with announcement that Cambior is already drilling or set to start drilling June 15, as Cambior has waited till mid june before to resume drilling!

Dean
Ps. I guess people would much rather invest in companies with squat to show & lots of hype! I could mention a lot with nothing trading between 30-50 cents! Sorry but Cambior isn't gonna shake me out, I'm here till they prove Laplata is a dud, or a 4 leafed clover! I feel alot safer investing in a company continually being knocked down on the last trade or odd lot (like-Zappa), than a stock continuously being pumped up on the last trade!(no names mentioned)

Hi GT,

Thanks for your input. I agree with you viewpoint here about current market perception. Like I said, I really have no expectations for any metals rally at this point after so many false alarms. Just when silver makes a nice move, some clown mine in Australia dumps 25 million oz hard metal on to the open market. Sheesh. In fact, the only stock I have any significant position in that is doing well is NPEC and they are moving on some telephony/internet technology they got their claws on. They once had a promising copper operation when I was first averaging in, but you know what happened to copper prices a year or two back. F-L-U-S-H.

EMC fails to meet expectations and it will be another Christmas where you can average in under 50¢. But how about some decisive drilling results in September just when metals wake up. Always a good speculation. I'm holding my breath. Somebody tell me when I can exhale. =0 --Alan

Top ten list of "reasons not to invest in Zappa!"

1) Low or little volume.

2) Stock price hasn't recently doubled or tripled.

3) currently only has less than $200,000.00 cash on hand, and market can't see past May 31st. to evaluate the 2.2 million shares of EMC.

4) Exploration properties are located in a developing country(Ecuador), so there is political risk.

5) Zappa is an honest junior mining company, and Dean Poets is reccomending it.

6) President Albert Gerry is an architect by trade, not a stock promoter.

7) Cambior owns 33% of Zappa's shares.

8) Laplata is almost to high grade for market to take seriously, especially the 10-15 meter widths!

9) Only been 2 million spent to date on exploration,30drill holes, and they have only proven up $150,000,000.00 in net smelter return.

10) I'll leave this open for the rest of you guys, as I'm sure somebody else has got reasons!

Dean
Ps. doesn't that spell disaster? I'm sure I'll make it on lettermen's show for this list!

If investor's can SPECULATE on EMC's chances of discovering a HUGE find in South America, why can't investor's speculate with Zappa's shares of EMC that will be delivered in September?

Obviously companies often run up to outragious prices before any thing is proven at all! Why should Zappa have to be the exception? Is Zappa the only company that has to prove up a billion dollar deposit before the market will give it credit for anything?
