No. I've been fishing my entire life and practice catch and release religiously, letting a camera tell the tale of the really nice ones, but this was one for the books. There is no shortage of monster largemouth bass in Georgia and this one's going on the wall. My son surprised me and gave it to me. I guess he knows eventually it will go to him.

Incidentally, we were fishing only about 20 miles from where the world record largemouth was caught over 60 years ago. That lake, Lake Montgomery, was drained years ago and is now a subdivision.Maybe this was one from the same gene pool.
