Agreed. What the heck is that guy rambling about? He's an inexperienced, first time user. In addition, after the first few lines in which he compared Netscape to Ebay (two totally unrelated companies/models in my mind) I lost him.

That Fortune.com article is garbage. For every person like him who complains the Ebay virgin experience was a nightmare, there are 25 people who are pleased with their first transaction. Not to mention the hundreds of people who actually LIVE @ Ebay. Ah, the life of an Ebay arbitrageur - gotta love it.

Anyway, what's really creepy is that the guy who's writing Ebay's obituary over at Fortune Mag is a VC. It shocks me that a writer/tech-VC dude has slammed Netscape and now Ebay. Damn, I could be a VC. If I only had access to the money...
