Brian - Thanks for very informative post and links on DSL. As you mentioned, 2nd link shows interesting speed illustration of DSL vs. modem.

Will be interesting to see if the RBOC's along with COVD, RHTH, NPNT can ramp up faster than the cable modem moguls. Like you, IMO, seems if RBOC's really commit to this, they could get an edge over cable modem in this area.

As for my choices for the poll.
My wife and I like AOL,INKT,NITE,AWRE,QWST,RNWK,IDTC,SCH,EMC
Just added CNET ad am considering re-buying GBLX and ATHM.
