Sega cuts game price 30% Reuters - June 1, 1999: 7:30 a.m. ET Video giant slashes Dreamcast price, playing catch-up with Sony TOKYO (Reuters) - Electronic game giant Sega announced plans to slash the price of its new Dreamcast video game machine by one-third on June 24 in a bid to boost sales in the ultra-competitive Japanese game market.
