To me "buy and hold" is anything longer than 48 hours unless your holding for a Tim Luke buyout special which could take longer. Buyout plays can hold up better in a market down turn like SKYT did last week. I prefer same day or next day trades - I know that I'll have 70% plus cash (CAPITAL) to put to work the next day. On down days I tend to play the blue bloods and on up days I play the riskier Nasdaq stocks. On course news plays (HAUP/ABTL), earnings plays (NOVL/IDTC this week), CNBC plays have a mind of their own and you can make $$ even with all this market volatility.

Good luck all...
