Got bored and decided to do some digging to try and figure out who is positioned in the stock and what they have been doing lately. I want to know if the "friendly hands" are still holding and are they accumulating stock. Although promoter's positions can be accumulated over long periods in small block through several different houses (very hard to trace) you can often find large cross to them at low prices when they first get positioned. You can tell they are promoter because these are the first houses to dump at the end of the pump. So who is position? I went back and checked all the large crosses done on JDX done in the past 8 months. Crosses Yorkton 10/26/98 - 670,000 at .44 11/04/98 - 509,980 at .50 Haywood 11/03/98 - 172,000 at .48 11/03/98 - 280,000 at .47 11/03/98 - 179,000 at .50 12/07/98 - 208,500 at .49 12/07/98 - 478,500 at .50 Versus 8/18/98 - 478,500 at .34 It looks like these are the "friendly hands" loading up at the very bottom. Nothing like get huge chunks of cheap stock. So the big question then becomes....what are they doing now??? Yorkton In the past 4 months Yorkton has been a net buyer every month buying a total net position of 450,000 Haywood They have been a net buyer 3 out of the last four months. On 3/29/99 they dumped 172,000 shares but other than that they have bought another 160,000 and are a net buyer this month. Versus In the past 4 months Versus has not done anything. They have done 4-5 trades with a net position of 20,000. So what is the conclusion...we already know that the insiders are holding their shares tight and according to the latest insider reports haven't sold any shares. Well according to my analysis the "friendly hands" that loaded up on JDX at the bottom haven't dumped any either. In fact it looks like they are accumulating a larger position. Just from those crosses alone these guys have over 3 million shares but I have this feeling that they have accumulated a lot more than that through small purchases. The trading reports for the past four months seem to support this. Lets hope Kaiser is right and these guys are planning on taking the stock over $10. However to tell you the truth I would be happy with just $5 or $6 <ggg> Best Regards KEITH
